Comprised of a diverse roster of talented athletes, the Diamonds showcase a blend of strategic gameplay and unwavering teamwork. With their signature diamond logo gleaming on their jerseys, they bring a sparkle to every match as they soar through the air with precision throws, lightning-fast cuts, and remarkable defensive prowess. The Denver Diamonds derive their name from the pristine beauty of Colorado, symbolizing the state's natural allure. Selected for its connotations of strength and resilience, mirroring the formidable properties of a diamond, the name also nods to the region's ski slope classifications, notably the challenging "Black Diamond" trails. The Denver Diamonds are not just a team; they're a shining example of excellence and determination in the ultimate frisbee world.
This project was done for my senior thesis, where we perform the entire design process from research and concepts to the creation of a complete set of deliverables. Sports has always been one of my passions, and I began playing Ultimate Frisbee at TCU, so I thought it would be interesting and fun to research design in sports and make my own team.
